bug spray for toddlers?
when can you start using bug spray and any recs on brand??

We use California Baby...I like that it's chemical free. But to be honest, I've only used it a few times each summer and we thankfully don't deal with many mosquitoes, so I can't really attest to how it deals with those nasty things.

It's the only part of summer I hate and down here in the south the bugs can be brutal! We plan to be in an area that's known for them so I need something. Of course I forgot to ask the ped at her 2 year visit

We only use California Baby on the girls...I bought the Burt's Bees spray and its greasy and kinda gross, so don't go for that one!

We started using it last summer when DS was about 14 months old. Our pediatric dermatologist recommended a bug spray with Picaridin (sp?) - we use Naturapel.
DS attracts mosquitos BIG time - for some reason. I can be out and not get one bite, and he'll get ten. The Naturapel helped a lot.
