bugaboo owners
i got a bugaboo frog at my shower on sunday. This was a complete suprise, never even considered having one. So i have no idea if i still need my regular Graco Quattro that i received, as well as my snap and go. Did any of you use the graco adapter for the bugaboo? is it worth it? or am i better off keeping my snap and go?

Re: bugaboo owners
I would get the Graco adapter and return the snap and go.
We used the Frog with the adapter. It's probably a little more work setting up the Frog with the adapter but I'd rather just go through a couple more motions than have two strollers.

Re: bugaboo owners
Keep the snap & go, return the Graco stroller. I have heard that the snap & go is wonderful to fold and really really easy to use. We had the adaptor for the bugaboo and as you prob already know the bugaboo is difficult to fold when getting into cars. Snap & go so much easier.
With the bugaboo you will end up getting a lighter stroller later on - like a maclaren or something. We have 3 strollers - a maclaren, bugaboo, and bumbleride. Ethan is almost 2 and we love the bumbleride now - it is easier to fold but still offers a generous amt of room for napping and long trips.
I hear Bugaboo is coming out with a stroller in the fall that folds in one piece - rather than having to detach the seat/bassinet piece. Maybe use the snap & go until then and exchange yours for that. That was my biggest gripe about the bug - the folding!

Re: bugaboo owners
I don't have the bugaboo but the snap and go is so light and easy to use, I've heard the opposite about the bugaboo... So for the first few months I would stick with the snap and go.

Re: bugaboo owners
it depends on where you live and if you are going to be going in & out of a car or if you are mostly on foot....
if in & out of a car, I'd keep the snap & go.... b/c it's very easy & compact... the bugaboo bassinet is quite bulky, and I don't see why you'd use that AND the car seat if you could get away with the snap & go frame..
However, if you are mostly on foot in and urban environment, then I'd just use the bugaboo w/ the car seat..

Re: bugaboo owners
I use the snap and go and bugaboo attachment. If I'm shopping the snap and go has a bigger basket underneath. But if I don't need to carry anything I'll use the bugaboo attachment with the car seat.

Re: bugaboo owners
I LOVE my Bugaboo--it moves so easily!! The only pain is taking it apart--but it is worth it
I also have the snap-n-go since my car is small and when we use my car, I dont think the bottom of the Bugaboo will fit
I am thinking of buying the adapter b/c once you get used to the Bugaboo manuervability it is hard to use anything else

Re: bugaboo owners
I would just buy the adapter, don't bother spending the money on the snap and go. IMO the bugaboo frame works just as well as the snap and go and looks soooooooooooo much better!!!
And I am all about style.

Re: bugaboo owners
Considering what I've just read in this thread, you have 3 strollers now. I assume you are using an infant carrier carseat. I would return the bugaboo since others mention it's a pain and you will need a lighter stroller once your child is older. I chose a stroller that I can use indefinitely. Seems silly to have one that will get limited use and is bulky/hard to set up and put away.
That's just me.

Re: bugaboo owners
thanks for the replys. Im going to keep the snap & go and the bugaboo. Returning the Quattro stroller. Now i have one other question I think i need to exchange my bugaboo for a different one, because seems that the strap for when u put it into the seat position, isnt long enough, Or do i just have to really stretch it out? (im talkign about the bottom strap that snaps into the peg on the side of it)

Re: bugaboo owners
Mine isn't very long either. It's maybe 4-5". How short are we talking?
It's not like the carseat where you need the plastic part on the baby's chest. It sits on the baby's belly.

Re: bugaboo owners
You have to really stretch the seat out to get it onto the pegs. You might need an extra hand do it (I did with mine)
I did want to say that in my experience, I would keep the Bug, get the seat clip for the car seat, return the snap and go, and use that money for a mid-range Maclaren, because you will eventually need a Maclaren type umbrella stroller when your child is a toddler, as the Bug seat is very small for a normal sized toddler.
