Bumble bee costume only one not on sale at Gymboree?
What gives? When is it going to go on sale??? It is the only one the carry not on sale!

That's weird. I definitely recommend that costume, it is ADORABLE and very well made (make sure to get the tights too). DD wore the same one last year and I LOVED it!

I totally agree! DD had this costume last year and it was adorable! Maybe its more popular so its not on sale?

Oooo, you got any pics???? I would love to see, I just bought my DD this one as it is so cute!
Don't forget about the antennae and the tights for sure!!!

And you inspired me to want Sydnie to be a bee this year but when I went they didn't have the stripey tights and it just wasn't the same for me without them so I passed but it was on the sale rack. (That was at Smithaven Mall).

i need the 6-12 month size, so it's hard to find...but there are tons of them on ebay - complete sets with the antennae & tights

Here are some pics of my bumble bee in the costume last year. My SLR was broken so these are from my back-up camera, hence the fuzzy quality.
I got a long-sleeve black onesie from Target for underneath, it was perfect.
Oh...I just remembered. I didn't like the antennae that came with the set...they didn't stand upright. So I bought some in Party City-- came with a pair of wings and the antennae-- was like $10 which was crazy since I only used the antennae and not the wings, but it was worth it b/c I loved how the antennae looked (even though in these pics they looked messed up b/c DD kept playing with them).
Google around for a coupon...their costumes sell out fast in particular sizes in my experience. Good luck!

I noticed the black shirt and was going to ask you, what a great idea! Also, I noticed the different antenna...I will keep that in mind.
Where did you find black shoes? I def need black shoes!

The black shoes were Pedipeds that we already had. You can usually find cheap black shoes in Target/Payless (and you can use them for the holidays then too!)
