BUMBLERIDE STROLLER
I really wanted a "bassinet" but realize it would cost me $500+++ for the option. Also DH went straight for the bugaboo (without knowing the $$) it is totally out of our price range.
I looked at strollers that become a carriage when reclining flat. I REALLY want the baby to lay flat at the beginning.
We looked at Peg Perego and bumbleride Flyer (I did not see the queen B in store.....and not sure where to see it in person!!).
DH prefered the bumbleride
Did anyone have any experience with the stroller?
Do you have any other recommendations?
TIA

Re: BUMBLERIDE STROLLER
Babies are not supposed to sit during the first 3 months. Their spine is not strong enough. So you are supposed to transport them flat in a carriage. You can usually use the carriage until they are 6 months depending on their size. Some kids outgrow the carriage/bassinet faster than others.
Just like you would not "sit" them on your lap. Just lean them backward when feeding them.

Ok, but wouldn't you have the baby in a reclined position in the stroller anyway since they can not hold their little heads up?? Were you planning on getting an infant carrier as well?

Re: BUMBLERIDE STROLLER
I bought the Bumble Ride Flyer. The Queen B (the one with the basinette) was way to big, heavy and bulky for my lifestyle. I live on the second floor and would have to shlep it up two flights of stairs.
I haven't used it yet, but I am very excited to. It is pretty light weight (for a full size stroller, that is) and is easy to fold. It is a little bulky when folded, but that is not a big issue for me.
When DH and I were looking, we really wanted this one because you can see that the quality is MUCH better than the stollers that are more widely available like the Graco and Peg's. **(This is JMHO)**
I say, if you can find a retail store, go look at it then make your decision. Like I said, I haven't used mine yet but I am so excited to and don't see any problems with it.
Good Luck!

Yes, that particular stroller reclines all the way flat if you want it to. The stroller I am considering has a universal car seat adapter. I would just buy the stroller and infant car seat. I am considering the Gracco Snugride.

We looked at it at BBB. We prefered it over the Peg Perego. It just looked easier to switch handle, etc...
When do you plan on using it?
