Bumbo seat
Is 2 1/2 months too early for it? She sits pretty well in it...

Re: Bumbo seat
Does she hold her head up well at this point? I waited until 3 months because I wanted to be really sure they could support their heads.

Re: Bumbo seat
she's so cute!!!!
I was wondering when I could open mine...DD doesn't hold her head up well yet, so I'm thinking its too early.
Is she doing better lately? Less crying?

Re: Bumbo seat
She holds it up pretty good...a little wobbly at some points - she does a turtle forward bob...but holds it up pretty good I'd say.
Charly - she has her moments...but is 100% better with the crying fits. She gets calmed down when we take her for walks around the house. She used to scream during the walks in the past...so I can't complain!
How is Hannah doing? Is her new Gold formula working?

I'm so glad to hear Ava is feeling better. I think getting older helps, plus we learn how to help them with time.

She's doing much better! The new formula definitely helps. She still toots a lot, but isn't screaming in pain - she also sleeps better because she's not in pain. So we are both happy now

Re: Bumbo seat
My babies were in it at 2 1/2 months too...sometimes they began to slump in it because they could only hold their heads up for a short while. They would get antsy and uncomfortable after a while, and then I would take them out. If your baby is comfie in it, why not use it?

Re: Bumbo seat
as long as they are happy in it. I bought one a few weeks ago, and my boys LOVE it. When they get antsy and had enough, I take them out

Re: Bumbo seat
I also put Jack in the bumbo before he could *really* hold his head up. I found it helpful to put the boppy or a pillow behind him to rest his head on.

Re: Bumbo seat
OMG, looks like she's doing good in it. She looks so cute. I wouldn't know because I didn't get my little man until he was five months and he sat in it all the time for a few weeks until he sat on his own. I say go for it as long as her head isn't all over the place. What a cutie!

Re: Bumbo seat
Steven is also 2 1/2 months and holds his head up really well. He loves being in it, BUT he still kind of slopes to one side. I'm not going to put him in it for another week or so because I don't want him to favor that one side that he keeps sloping to. I would say as long as she is not leaning to one side, she should be alright. Maybe start with just a few minutes at a time.
