bummed about my ann taylor loft maternity clothes

so i ordered 4 nice shirts because of the 40% off sale, free shipping and i have a gift card. so it didn't cost me anything.

i just tried them on and i can't wear any of them yet. they're so big in the stomach i probably can't wear them for 3 months (i'm 18 weeks). i don't know if i should return them or wait and see if they fit when i'm bigger

all the clothes i've bought at macys, mimi, motherhood, etc fit fine now. i was looking forward to having some new shirts because i really like these!

I'd hang onto them, they are absolutely adorable and I'm sure your tummy is growing quicker then you think.

18 weeks is a hard time to fill out those shirts..by 25 weeks you will! That is around when I really popped. I think you'll be the same!

Also...I love them all!

I also popped around 24-25 weeks. I guess the question is, are they shirts you can still wear 2 months from now, seasonally? If not, I'd return them. If so, then keep them.

At 18 weeks, I was still in all regular clothes. You will grow into them, just give it some time.

i got that black sweater too... i put it in the closet hoping it will fit down the line.. i think we have 90 days to return... so if it still dosnt fit then, or the weather is too warm, i will return...

Re: bummed about my ann taylor loft maternity clothes

My new clothes from AT arrived today. Everything fit well except one shirt was a LITTLE big. I am sure I will grow into it. Chat Icon I am almost 20 weeks. I have really "popped" in the past 2 weeks and my regular shirts don't fit as well. Maybe you will have similar experience!

KEEP THEM. Same thing happened to me... In a few months, i was sooo happy to have bigger shirts when everything else was getting too small! They are very cute by the way!

I'm not in maternity shirts yet either, just bottoms. Even those are big, but soooo comfy.

Keep the shirts! It's still cold in late March early April and you'll DEFNITELY fit into those by then.
