bump behind dogs ear? - *update*
My husband felt a small bump behind Maggie's ear when he was giving her a scratch. She jerked her head away a few times when we tried to feel it. Today I noticed her scatching at it. ANy thoughts?
*took her to the groomer and it turns out it was severly matted fur that poodles get when they're changing their coats. thank goodness it was something simple!

Is it under the skin or on top of the skin? Maybe a pimple? My poodle gets them and they annoy him.
My pit bull had a hematoma once on his ear that we had removed. It kept growing so that's why we had it removed. But it was a big red bump on top of his skin.

can you see it at all? My dog had a small bump and when I first looked at it it looked like a mole, but it turned out to be a wart!! It grew really big for about 5 weeks then disappeared!

Buddy had a bump behind his ear and it turned out to be a tick... but I dont think its tick season.
