Bump on dogs ear-sorry a little long
We noticed a small red bump on Porters ear a few weeks ago. We thoguht it might be from when he was in our friends back yard and playing with their dog that maybe she bit his ear, so we kept a watch on it and i put neosporin on it for a few days. Well it looked like it was getting a little better and now it got bigger. Its a red bump above the skin and the hair is gone on it. I made a vet appt for him but can't get him in there til next week. My vet had no avail appts and i refuse to take him to someone else. I am hoping he didn't get a tick from our friends backyard but i think i would see if it was a tick. I have seen ticks and tick bites before and they never looked like this. It doesn't bother him, he doesn't scratch it. Anyone have an ideas on what it could be?

My parents dog had this on her ear The vet checked it out and said it was nothing to worry about as long as it didn't get bigger. It was about 1/2 the size of an eraser on a pencil.

It's probably nothing to worry about but I would get it checked.
