Burgers
I would like to make my own and don't know how to season or what I could do to make them special. What are your favorite types to make?

Also my dad likes to put cheese in the middle of the burger before putting it on the grill, that way when you bite into it the cheese melts out. I want a burger now!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Burgers
DH loves them with a dash Worcestershire sauce and a lot of McCormick grill seasoning.
We also make taco burgers - red hot, cilantro, cumin, garlic and then top them with tomatoes and avocados.
There is also the BLT burger, bacon lettuce and tomato on top. You can do a little mayo or ketchup on the bun.
There is the dallas burger, it's like BBQ sauce and coleslaw on top.
Jalapeno Popper burgers are good. you stick cream cheese or cheddar cheese inside the burger and also add jalapenos.
DH loves Guinness burgers i got the recipe off the food network website. google it, its good.
You could do turkey burgers for a variation.

When we make our own burgers I will grate onions, add a dash of Worcestershire and then add dry ranch seasoning. Comes out really good.

Re: Burgers
I grind my own meat (50% chuck, 50% sirloin) and just add kosher salt. It's Alton Brown's recipe.
Grinding your own with good quality meat makes all the difference, IMO.

I buy these specialty burgers at Stop and Shop that they make in house. But you can make them yourself. They are SOOOO good.
They have bacon in then, cheddar, and onion.
They are amazing!

My dad uses the lipton too.
I like to use an egg over easy on mine. the yolk runs over the burger. I usually use 2 eggs for one burger for more yolk. I also sometimes add ketchup on top of the egg & burger.
