Burning sensation near ribs/upper belly at 28 weeks-

Here's a new one! I have been having some right side tenderness near my ribs and bra line since week 24.

My newest symptom is that this area has started to feel like its burning. In fact it is hot to the touch!

I am on pepcid AC b/c my doc thinks it is heartburn related, but the meds don't relieve it and it doesn't seem related to my eating habits.

I go to the doc tomorrow and of course will bring this up along with my other gripes but thought I would check in with you girls to see if anyone is experiencing anything similar.

Ahhh.. I've had the same thing for weeks!!!!!!!!!!! Right under the bra line. Originally. I thought it was gallstones. I got it checked out by a sonogram tech & was told that it was just the pressure my uterus was putting on my digestive system since it was expanding. I know.. weird. It feels somewhat like a burning sensation. I would get it checked out, although it is most likely just your body adjusting to the changes.

I had a gallbladder sono too and all checked out clear.
The tech did say that my uterus was pushing things around so I guess this is why I am in pain.

wow, i too have had this since 28 weeks (im 30 now) and its like under my right boob on my ribs and my bra bothers it. In fact, its numb, burns and itches if that makes sense. I went to have a sono last week and explained the sensation to the tech and she checked it out with the sono thingy (lack of words here lol) and she said he feet are under my ribs and she might be pressing on a nerve. So.. maybe your baby is pressing on a nerve or something? It bothered me ALOT today in fact.. Im going to invest in more sports bras or bras without underwire.. maybe that will help you ladies too.. goodluck!

I had that with DS, but I don't remember it being hot to touch. My midwife said no one knows why that happens, but it will go away after the baby is born, which it does!

I had that almost my entire pregnany, right in the center under my bra. it actullay feels numb there sometimes too!
