Business casual for interview? UPDATE!!!
Well I squeezed into one of my suits from pre-pregnancy and I got there and the CEO of the company is in jeans. LOL. The best is, he was interviewing someone else after me and she was wearing JEANS! Now that I wouldnt do. At least wear nice pants and shirt. _________________________________________________________________
I have an interview today and they told me over the phone the dress attire for the office is business casual and that is how I should come dressed for the interview. Should I wear a suit or is a nice dress or skirt ok?

Re: Business casual for interview?
But they told her Business Casual - why would you come in a suit then?
I would wear a nice skirt or pants and blouse - maybe bring a jacket with you if you feel necessary.

because I think you should ALWAYS go on an interview in a suit! It makes a better impression....

I know what you mean, I work in HR....but I was just saying that they said not to, some places aren't like that - when I worked in advertising once in a blue moon you would see a suit, even for interviews!
What type of ennvironment is this?

I agree! It does not matter what you wear after you get hired, always a suit to an interview! I wear sweat outfits to work, but never would to an interview.
