Buy clothes while TTC?
A few years ago I was a complete clothes horse. I was on a first name basis with the sales ladies at Saks & Bloomies 
Then... I got engaged. My habit came to a screeching hault. I had some fab clothes, that were great quality... they would last me.
Now it's 2005. My clothes are REALLY old. I'm now a "tight" 8, not even a comfortable one.
I'm DYING for new summer clothes, my stuff is SOO old. But now with TTC, I'm afraid if I buy something I'll won't get the chance to wear it since *if* I get PG I'll gain weight-- or-- I'll never wear it period. Then when and if I fit back into them, they'll be out of style!
What are you guys doing? Are you just buying clothes like normal?? Do you even consider this?

But Cheryl - I totally understand where you are coming from. I desparately need new clotehs (in a bigger size ) and I keep procrastinating because I am HOPING I will be preggo soon and will not need a brand new wardrobe, only some maternity things down the road..
So basically, I have NO answer to your question

I feel the same way. Everytime I go to buy something I think about it more because of this. I just recently bought this floral long blouse that goes over jeans for my sister's shower in July. It is very flowy and my thinking was if I was pregnant it would leave some room if I gained weight early on. I have not bought much clothes at all these past few months.

I wont buy anything (except shoes) right now because of TTC. I just cant spend the $$$ especially if I DO get PG and will have to buy maternity stuff.

I have actually bought clothes. I'm in the same situation...no summer clothes fit. So what I did was get them just a little big, not so that it would look funny. If I get PG and gain a few lbs it wont be so bad & If I don't get back down to me pre-wedding weight at least I'll have clothes for next year. They aren't that trendy so I'm sure they will be in next year. If not I get to go shopping again

Go shopping!! Even if you got pregnant today, you would not need maternity clothes this summer most likely. And then by next summer, the baby will be here and you'll be back to your skinny self!!

WOW- we are all a lot ALIKE. I too dont wanna buy anything in case I get PG! LOL
I have though, and what I did was just buy "cheaper"..something new to get me through but not a huge splurge I will regret incase I cant wear it, ya knoa?

I've bought a lot of summer clothes recently (my sister had a temp job at the Gap so I had to get them while I could ), but I did think about whether or not I'd actually get to wear them.
