Buying a GC with store credit/other GC?
Does anyone know if you can buy a GC using store credit or another existing GC?
So for example, If I wanted to buy a TRU GC for someone but I had store credit/existing GC's to use to pay for it, would I be able to do this? I am planning on calling the store when they open but just wanted to see quickly if anyone has done this. TIA!

I know you can't do this at Macy's (I tried) but, I'm not sure about other stores.

that's stupid if you can't. If they don't let you, then buy stuff at the store that will total the amount you want on the gift card, and then immediately return the items and ask for them to be put on a gift card lol

Can't at CVS tried to use Visa gift card to purchase iTunes card didn't work

Most of them say you can't on the back of the gift card itself.

Don't think you can buy a gift card to anywhere but you can get gift card for their store for some places. I want to say toys r us let me do this

Babies r us let me. I was given 150 gc and I bought a few things and bought a 50 gc to regift to someone else.
