Buying a home with solar panels
If you are purchasing a home that has leased solar panels how does that work? Do you just take over the lease? Sorry for the silly question.

Re: Buying a home with solar panels
I would check the solar panel contract for an assumption clause. Have your attorney ask the sellers attorney for a copy of the solar panel contract to see what it says in the event of a home sale.

Re: Buying a home with solar panels
We almost put the leased solar panels on. It was going to be in our contract that if we sold we could transfer the lease to the buyers. Or they told us we could add on however much we owed to the cost of the house and pay them off when we sold.
