Buying a new car - no money down?
Is this at all possible? There is a small chance that DH and I will need a new car soon. We were going to wait until next year but mine won't start and if it costs too much to fix I am just going to get a new/used one.
Has anyone purchased a vehicle recently with no money down? I have good credit (I think my score is around 720).

Yes, you can. But my DH always recommends paying the taxes, title, registration, etc. up front. I can ask him specificially more details if you want.

Re: Buying a new car - no money down?
when i went to buy my car in Oct, they wanted me to put no money down (just something like $500 for t/t/r) b/c of some promotion that Chrysler was running. It was kind of annoying b/c then there's a balloon payment at the end, but i just took their offer so that i could get the additional $1000 rebate, and then pay that extra $ in my monthly payments (so basically there wont be a balloon payment at the end).
I thought it was ironic, though, that in this market, when you have someone that wants to put alot of $$$ for a dp, to discourage them from that?! I'm not sure if they're still doing it (b/c this was in october), but it was through Westbury jeep, dodge chrysler.
