Re: buying cookie cutters??

I've purchased cookie cutters of all different price ranges...and they're all pretty much the same. The copper ones that are $$$ are sturdier, and feel more solid, but I've never had any of the $1 ones fall apart either. And I like to throw them in the dishwasher to wash them also...they take a beating.

So, essentially, it doesn't really matter!

Same here. The more expensive ones have the rubber or plastic grip on top so it doesn't hurt your hands. Totally not necessary unless you think you'll be doing hundreds of cookies daily. Then your hands might get sore. Chat Icon

Wilton cookie cutters are usually like that, but honestly I think they are way too pricey. You can sometimes get them reasonably priced at Michael's if they are on sale or you use a 40% off coupon.

But I usually buy the cheaper cookie cutters. I have a big box of shapes from BBB. I think it comes with 101 plastic cookie cutters. I've never had an issue with them. You can also order online from cheapcookiecutters.com if you're looking for a more specific shape. They have hundreds of different kinds and are always coming out with new ones.
