buying diapers
anyone else buying diapers before the baby is born? I figured if I see a good sale ...why not. Yesterday I bought luvs newborn for $3.98 and I bought huggies for 4.77 but had two 2.00 coupons...how great is that! Not sure what will fit my baby but I figure its a bargain

Re: buying diapers
i have purchased a lot of diapers when I get good deals and coupons. I also purchased various sizes newborn, 1, 2, and 3.
The good thing is if they outgrow them before you open the package, you could always exchange them for the bigger size.

Re: buying diapers
I'd be careful about buying diapers now. You never know if your baby is going to be big or small, but not even that, you'll find that the shape of your baby will determine the type of diapers that you will use. And trust me, using a diaper that doesn't fit your little one's behind is not a pretty sight!

Re: buying diapers
I buy them when they're on sale and I have coupons. I taped the receipts onto the packages so if I don't end up using them I can easily return or exchange them. You can never be too prepared.

We did! So far we have 2 packs of the newborn sizes and 3 boxes of size 1-2. My advice..don't buy too many of the newborn sizes, they outgrow those pretty quick! With Melanie I think she outgrew them by the time she was 2 weeks old.

I heard this too, dont buy too much at once, because they will grwo out of them, or you may not like that brand, and cannot return them if they are open
