Buying European train tickets (not passes) before your trip?
I don't need a multi-day pass... I want a ticket on the overnight train from Madrid to Lisbon on a specific date.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to book this? I'd like to do it before I leave for my trip as I have heard these trains sell out quickly.
A quick google search turned up one or two companies that charge a huge premium, is this my only choice?
TIA!

What about booking them online, thats probably the cheapest, buying them in advance usually knocks the price down quite a bit
eta...but I don't know where. Sorry.

It will be cheaper if you buy it over there. Is there a way you can call to an office over there to buy them? If not you can buy them at the above mentioned websites, but I don't know where you can get them cheap. Sorry.
