Buying for next summer

Are you ladies taking advantage of the sales and buying for next summer.

I got burned with so many clothes because he grew so much faster than expected. I am nervous to buy for next summer, but it would be a shame not to with the great prices I'm seeing.

If he is in 18-24 months now, what do you think he will be in next summer? 3T?

Medium in mens!Chat Icon your DH is slim, they will be the same waist sizeChat Icon

It makes me nervous. I would go big, 3T sounds good to me. We are in 12-18 months now...I really wish I would have bought him a winter coat at the end of the season.

Re: Buying for next summer

I am having the same dilemma. Mollie is MUCH smaller than Stephen (even though she is older Chat Icon ). She is currently in 6-9 months...but I don't know what to buy for next summer...18-24 months? I don't want to pass up on the great deals...but I also don't want to be stuck with stuff she can't wear either. I'm torn Chat Icon

Re: Buying for next summer

I am so not organized enough to buy clothes now for next year. With my luck I'd forget and then find them when the boys are in HS.

It's so hard to tell.... Last summer Nate was wear 12/18months. And this summer, he's still wearing a lot of the 18 month stuff. Many of the 24 month or 2T stuff he does have are too big in the waist.

Re: Buying for next summer

I have no room to store extra clothes and I'm just not sure what size Lily will be. Right now she's in 6-9 months. So I guess I'll have to pass the sales by (except for stuff she can wear now) Chat Icon

Re: Buying for next summer

I went today to Old Navy and bought a 2T swimsuit for next summer. I tried it on tonight and it wasn't too big on him, which leads me to think that I should buy 3T clothes. He is 19 months right now.
