Buying wine over the internet...and on LI...
Are there any websites that you know of that are good for their selection, shipping rates/coupon specials ?
My bro recommended winelibrary.com....
prices are good but shipping is high.
Are there any stores on Long Island that have a lot of California wines?

Almost all of the liquor stores I go to have a large selection of California Wines. It's 90% of what I drink.

Yes, you can ship wine to NY.
A favorite of ours to order from in Benziger. They also have a sister winery called Imagery.

I know many stores on Long Island have big Californian selection.
What area are you in - I can have DH point you in the right direction for that.
Online - I am not to sure.
Is there something that you are looking for in particular?

I buy a lot from Bottles & Cases in Huntington. They have a decent selection (not huge) of California wines and they have pretty good prices.
I've ordered wine online before for hard to find wines, but I don't recall what site I used. Sorry.

We were given a gift certificate for Geerlings & Wade. They had a decent selection. I don't remember how expensive shipping was.

some states don't allow wine to be delivered...
NY is allowed
wine.woot.com is an ok site but its a special once a week, there is one wine on sale starting on mondays..
