C-Section Complications?
Anyone have complications following a C-Section?
I had a C-Section on Friday, July 1st resulting in the birth of my son Kevin. Approximately 1/2 hour following the procedure I developed Toxemia which is pre-eclampsia but just happens to appear after the birth. My blood pressure shot up to 191/78, I had severe sweats and heart palipatations and spent the next 24 hours on Magnesium Sulfate which was terrible. It made me very woozy, incoherent, and sick.
After I was finally sent home I developed a problem with my incision. A hematoma developed under the incision which had to be removed and the doctor ended up just opening the whole outer incision and now I have to have a nurse come to the house 2x a day to pack the wound with gauze and apply a combine dressing.
I knew a C-Section would be hard but this is a bit overwhelming.

So sorry that you are going through this, I have unfortunately have heard of these complications before, esecially the post-preg pre-clampsia, this can last for about 6-8 weeks post partum, sometimes longer.
