c-section moms
ok, so i stopped bleeding like around week 3 1/2 and all of a sudden it started again, now i was wondering if it is AF but i have no AF like things going on...... Did you bleed on and off after the c-section, this is going to be week 6 on Friday and i have my 6 week checkup on Thursday, and o ya do they do an internal??

I know that I bled heavy for a week, and then really light for 3 weeks after that. I can honestly not remember when I got AF for the first time after! My preggo brain is in full effect! 
At the 6 week checkup you do get an internal. Be prepared!

Yes. I bleed off and on. I stopped bleeding the day I was discharged from the hospital and then I started again at about 3wks pp. That lasted about a week. (I am BFing so it's very unlikely to be AF) There also was no cramping or any other signs.

I found it came and went for around five to six weeks, depending on my activity level.

I bled on and off for the first 6 weeks. I would bleed more when I was more active or doing heavy lifting. My OB said it was mother nature's way of reminding me to slow down.

i started to bleed againa round my 6wk visit, i was told it's normal especially if i was over doing it... which i think i was...
i had a paptest and an internal mat my 6wk visit...i was suprised.....
but fine.. she also gave me bc pills

I just started to bleed again today and ds is exactly 5 weeks. I am going for a Dr. visit on Friday!

OMG! THe same thing happened to me! I though I was done bleeding so I stopped wearing a pad or liner....WRONG MOVE. One morning out of no where, I was in our bedroom w/ baby waking up DH and I left a lovely stain on the sheet! It lasted that day. I too thought it was AF, but it wasn't.
Knock on wood, no othe rspotting/bleeindg since, but I started BCP on Sun, not sure if that's had anything to do with it.
OH, and (TMI) we did "the deed" last night....no bleeding!
