c-section nightmares

ok...am I only only one that dreams of this?
I already had 2 c sections and I am still anxious about this?
I hate situations where I am out of control and I am soooooo not looking forward to this. I wonder if I can get a valium beforehand? Anyone else stress?.

Re: c-section nightmares

I am terrified. I mean I just dont want any part of it at all. And like you, I will need some meds to actually go through with it, if I need to.

Re: c-section nightmares

I try not to think about it. I will most likely have another one, but honestly, not knowing what a vag birth is like, scare me more. It's really the recovery that scares me the most.

Re: c-section nightmares

I am soooo stressed about this, but try not to think of it yet. I had one c/s already and hope to go VBAC in May. If it ends up in c/s, so be it (even though I can't fathom being away from DD for 4 nights!), but I CANNOT imagine walking in on my own accord like, "I'm here...slice me up!" So, whatever happens, I actually realllllly hope I go into labor first.

I flipped out over not feeling my legs/not being able to move, etc. etc. If I must be scheduled, I do plan to ask if valium or some sort of sedative is OK beforehand. My DH asked if there would be extra for him Chat Icon

This is exactly**how I feel. I had 2 already, but the thought of walking in and saying cut me freaks me out.
I was in labor both times.
Ok..I'm not the only one thinking of this. I think what also freaks me out is the arms on the boards too.
I have heard some people do not have this, I am going to request they do not do that and valium.
