C-section question - whats the deal with the lump above my incision?

Will that ever go away?

The scar is surprisingly light, which I'm thrilled about, but then it has that shelf thing that Jenny Mcarthy talks about in baby laughs... Am I doomed to have that forever?

Yeah, that little pouchy thing? Mine never went away--well I got pregnant again about a year later and it was still there anyway. Now I can't see it at all

I have no idea what you're talking about! I don't have a shelf thingy or a lump. Maybe it has to do with if you had staples or not? I didn't have any staples. Hmmm..I wonder!

I had a pouch until my uterus went back to its smaller size. Is that what it is? I still have a small spot that sticks out a little but nothing bad. I didnt have staples though.

I didn't have staples either and I have it. I still have weight to lose though, so I'm hoping that it will go away once I lose it and start working out and if not at least its low enough to cover!
