C-section question a year later........
I'm still getting some pain, almost like cramping, that comes and goes, these past few days and its bothering me. I'm going to make an apt with my OB-GYN this week, but I wanted to know if any other mom's get this cramping pain feeling still a year later? I just got over my period like almost 2 weeks ago , so I know its not that. I swear my body is so not the same since I had Julia. TIA!

Not cramping - but funny you should post this...I was just complaining to my DH last night that I feel like my dr did a butcher job on my scar. It's SO puffy (the scar itself) and hurts and ITCHES all the time. I don't get crampy really though - just some discomfort where the scar is.

Re: C-section question a year later........
I am very happy with how my scar came out -- the docs did a great job and scarring is minimal. I don't get cramping, but do get numbness/tingly in that area quite often.
I definately thin that if it is bad cramping htat it is worth mentioning to your OB -- even if it's just a phone call to them.

Re: C-section question a year later........
I think it's a good idea to see your OB-Gyn. I get the occasional odd twinge and my scar will suddenly itch for a minute but nothing like what you are saying unless it pms time. Not that I think I healed perfectly either because when I pressed on my incision scar the other day, I could feel the scar tissue underneath and it worried me a little.

Re: C-section question a year later........
I get that too also, some numbness by my scar, but this is more like a cramping uncomfortable feeling that I've been feeling these past 2 days which is weird. Like right now its gone, but then in a few hrs can return again??? I dont know, I worry about everything with me now that I have a daughter to take care of.

Re: C-section question a year later........
I didn't have the cramping after my first c-section, but since my second (17 months ago) I have experienced some awful cramping. I did see the OB/GYN and he did a sonogram (which was completely normal), but said that it is not that uncommon for there to be some internal scarring after a c-section (or 2) that causes cramping. I wouldn't be overly concerned, but would call the dr. just to be sure.
