C-Section recovery

i had a c-section surgery for the birth of my babe. it's been approx 3.5mths and the scar is still numb-like and sensitive. when do you get all the feeling back? when does it all go back to normal?

Re: C-Section recovery

i had two csections as well. my oldest is almost 5 years old and my incision is STILL numb. i asked my obgyn about that and she said complete feeling in that area may never come back and thats totally normal.

Re: C-Section recovery

I had abdominal surgery almost 8 years ago and have the same type of scar as a C-section. It's still numb, but is just a faded white stripe at this point.

9 months later and I am still numb down there. I am also still sore at times. If I lean my stomach into something or get bumped or something like that, I see stars. Not sure when that is supposed to go away.
