c section surgery time
about how long did your c section take from start to finish?
My first one was done in 35-40 min
my second was close to 2 hrs

Definitely less than 30 mins - closer to 20 mins.  I also had an adverse reaction to the drugs

I would say baby was out within 15 minutes and then after that, it took about 20 more minutes to finish up.

My first one about a 1/2 hour.
My second one took 1 hour and 15 minutes. They had trouble getting him out.

1st one was 45 minutes, but it was complicated by a complete previa.
2nd one was 12 minutes from start to finish. I kid you not.

from start to finish, over an hour! i went into the OR at about 1:15pm, DS was born at 1:55 and I wasnt out of surgery for at least another 30 mins. I remember it taking FOREVER after they got him out (i think i lost more blood than they let on ... )

I don't remember the first, since I was in bad labor at the time...not long though.
My second took 45 minutes to get my block in, but the surgery part was similar.

My first one was about 40 mins
My second one was about an hour and a half. The doc did make a comment that I had a lot of scar tissue. It makes the surgery longer because they need to cut through it and sometimes cut it out.

I think around an hour, hour and a half. I had some sort of bleeding episode. I also had twins though I don't think that had much to do with it.
