cabbage soup diet

I was wondering does the cabbage soup diet really work? I am thinking of going on this diet for a few months. Thank you.

ro...when i asked my doctor what diet he recommends, the first diet he said was weight watchers. it works. if u decide to do the cabbage soup diet, good luck

Thanks gail.... I just want to try something to give me the head start to lose weight, Yes weight watcher's can be good but i seem to have no success weight lose with it, but maybe i can combine the two and see what happens.Thank you again.

OH NO!!!! I did this years ago, smelt like cabbage turned orange from all the carrots and tomato juice. I would not ever try this again.. I did do Nutrisystem for a few months and I lost weight and have been keeping it off with ww. That was the best way to go for me and my husband... We both did it....

My mother used to use the cabbage soup diet, and the mother of one of my friends did, too. It did work for them, but (a) as soon as they went off it, they gained weight back, and (b) the WHOLE HOUSE smelled like cabbage. Personally, the second drawback is worse (cabbage smell) in my opinion.
