Re: cabin fever

I think the general rule is above 40 so I think as long as you really bundle him up warm and don't go for very long - 15 mins -20mins tops I think it is okay.
Etd to add that I wouldn't sit home just b.c he is a premie. You don't have to go to the stores etc where everyone is sick. If it is too cold to walk you could always bundle him up, warm up the car and go take some nice drives to get you out of the house. Driving out to the beach is nice, or a park etc. Even if you don't actually get out of the car it is a nice change from your home.

Re: cabin fever

I had another date out with DS this morning. We went to Panera and had breakfast and then went to Old Navy. It felt so great to get out and be part of the land of the living again!!

Re: cabin fever

I took DS out for the first time yesterday by myself. We only went to the OB/GYN for my 6 week pp appointment, but it really felt great to get out of the house. I hope we have more warmer days soon so I can start taking DS for walks around the neighborhood.
