CAC Compressor/Unit
Anyone buy one of these and if so, how much do they usually run?
Ours crapped out last night

Not sure of the price, but are you sure it is dead? Maybe it is just out of frion? That's what was wrong with mine (it has a leak somewhere but they'll find it in the off-season). They just filled it up yesterday and we were good-to-go.

I actually have someone coming today to look at it, but just thinking ahead.

I have an old CAC unit and I worry about this happening. I think replacing the compressor is a few thousand dollars.
