Re: California Baby products
I'm not crazy about it either...I thought the calming one would smell better and it didn't....I was in Whole Foods the other day and there is a product line right next to it that is along the same lines. I didn't smell it (I don't know why ) but it may be worth a try. HTH.

They all smell different to each their own, I guess. I like how California Baby smells. IF you are used to J & J or Aveeno the organic stuff is going to smell more like essential oils than that "baby smell" KWIM?
The price is right on the Rainbow stuff and they have an unscented baby wash as well. All of the ones on this list are GREAT IMHO. At least now you have a few you can try the smell of and see which one you like.

Re: California Baby products
I use Burts Bees for now, but have used California Baby and I didn't mind it but honestly could care less what it smells like.
Why? because most of the harmful chemicals are actually in all the great smelling fragrance of other products anyhow.
So if you want to go the natural route, alot of times you just have to go with the natural occuring scents, ie lavendar, earthy smells KWIM?

Re: California Baby products
I actually use Cetaphil for my dc's who have sensitive skin / ezcema. I use the cleanser and lotion / cream. I buy the big tub in BJ's or target which lasts forever. It's unscented and so far seems the only thing that works on their itchy skin.

hmmm you smell it on him? I never smell anything off DS after a bath, maybe my sniffer is not working but try Burts - it defintely has a less earthy scent.
