calling all researchers or moms with darker blue nurseries/bedrooms

Does anyone have a nursery with navy/dark royal blue? I'm searching for pictures and am having a hard time finding things. Below is a picture of the bedding we ordered and now I'm just trying to figure out what color to paint the walls and if I want to do white or wood tined furniture. I'm looking for pictures to help give me some inspiration.

The bedding....

I like the colors, but it actually makes me dizzy to look at. JMO

I will post a picture for you when I put his bedding back on (it's in the dryer). We actually just finished it early this month. The top is Old Hale by BM (navy blue) and then we did white paneling on the bottom. I love the way it looks. I think a whole room in that blue would be really dark but the white brightens it up.

I like the bedding too. What color are you going to accent it with?

I really like the bedding set.

I would do all white walls since the bedding makes a statement all on it's own.

I personally wouldn't pait the walls dark if the bedding is dark as well -
I'd do something on the deeper side of the blue specturm, but not Navy -

ANY blue you choose will work wi/ the navy in that bedding though

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm debating if I want to go white with the walls. I like the modern look of that, but I don't want it to be too cold or stark for a nursery. So I'm thinking of either doing a light sky blue on the walls or maybe even a green or beige? I really don't know. We know that we love the bedding set, I'm just not 100% sure how to work around it. The pictures are the best and we didn't finish decorating but you get the idea.
The horizontal picture is with the lights off but with a flash and then the other 2 pictures the room light is dim with a flash.

I would do the walls in either a very pale blue or do a beige color. And I would probably go with white furniture. Chat Icon
