Calling all the evil geniuses of LIF!
I'm on a mission for vengeance.
I started bringing in my healthy treats to work so I would have something to gnosh on instead of going downstairs and buying a cookie (or two).
And in the last week I've had 2 yoplaits stolen (the best flavor, no less, white chocolate strawberr) and three wedges of my laughing cow cheese stolen.
In fact, after my yogurt was stolen, a coworker and myself put up a sign on the refrigerator saying that our items had been stolen. This person had the balls to go ahead and steal the entire container of my laughing cow cheese 2 days later! 
This is a communal work refrigerator that serves approximately 40 employees.
I need some evil genius ideas to (1) get back at this thief, and (2) catch him!

leave a yogurt out at home for 2 days. let it get nice and rank. then place it in the fridge. do the same for the laughing cows. (just makes sure they are away from Alex's little hands)

definitely laxatives. It's a burn & it tells you who it is all at once.
ETA: Get the whips yogurt...there are several chocolate flavours that will cover the ex-lax taste nicely

Ok, yeah, ideas that won't get ME in trouble. I thought of the laxatives, but I'm scared of the repurcussions...
Leaving the yogurt/cheese out for a day or two, now THAT idea I like!

put some marker on the yogurt containers or some really nasty grease that doesn't wash off easily. Like vaseline. Coat the whole thing, get it nice and globby but hard to detect by looking.

On as side note, I think there was a News Radio episode like this.

An idea to keep them from stealing anything else, what about keeping your food in a lunchbag (the zip-up, thermal kind)...
maybe the won't have the nerve to open up the bag.

I guess the pill would be kind of crunchy, so maybe a yogurt with granola or something else crunchy.

Put your initials on the bottom of the yogurt cup and then peek into your suspect's trash can. No denying it if it's in their trash.

If liquids are getting stolen you could put Visine in it. Pretty undetectable & it has the same results as a laxative.
