I'm bringing DH for Cafe night.
I'm hoping some of you will bring your DH's so they can "enlighten" him on the reality of what is about to happen He's very good but I think even the best have absolutely no comprehension of how life is going to change. He's had 38 years of being the "baby".

Nassau County Mothers of Twins Club.
It's a membership organization that meets in Hicksville. They have meetings once a month and other activities

My husband went to the November one and was mortified to be the only dh. I think he is scared for life. He wanted to waitin the car that time.
I am going to try to go since i missed the last 2.

Oh, I remember you now. I was uncomfortable for you   I remember you standing in the kitchen and just thinking, "OMG, can't we get this woman a couch!" You were a real trooper coming to a meeting that late in your pregnancy.
 I'll tell my DH that all of the guys are planning a little "sit down" with him All I can picture is the stereotypical scene from the movies where the police are in the interrogation room with the suspect, and that one bright lightbulb dangling form the ceiling, firing off questions one after the other

Theresa, my DH was like this, he acted like us having twins didn't phase him at all. He was so calm and pretty much acted like likfe was going to go on being normal. Once the babies came he really stepped up to the plate, no questions asked, he just knew what had to be done. Men don't worry about thinks that will happen, they need the babies to be here before they start realizing what has to be done. I am sure DH will be fine! Everyone would harrass me about how hard this would be on VIn and how he was so unprepared and now everyone can not believe how great he is with them and everything he does. We really showed them LOL.

OK, now you reminded me of a story.
I was at a party senior year of high school at my BF's house. Her Dad was there and pretty strict so my other friend filled a saline bottle with rum so as to spike the drinks. So I'm innocently drinking my coke and my friend keeps asking me if I'd like "saline" in my soda Finally, I say... "Are you on crack or something? Why would I want saline in my soda, Bonehead?" Of course, the Dad was out of earshot and she said... "because it's rum and you are the bonehead" For the rest of the night I pretended my glass was filled with floating contact lenses
I've never looked at a bottle of saline the same way again
If there is wine I'll just vicariously live through you
ETA: I just realized that party was 19 years ago Oh, dear Lord
