Calling for my blood results
Some of you may remember my post from Monday where i had my first ultrasound, dr estimated i was in beginnig of 5th week bc of late ovulation. All that was visible was gest sac in uterus.
So since that day i have been the most nervous wreck of a person thinking the worst. Im convinced when i have my next u/s, that there wont be a fetal pole or yolk sac.
Furthermore, Im a nervous wreck to get hCG levels. Theres nothing to compare to bc this was my first and only blood test. However, is there a number i SHOULD be within?
I cant believe how sick i am over this. My stomach has been in knots for days. I havent AT ALL enjoyed being Pg this week bc i hate this worry and fear
Also, im not at all having any real symptoms beside sore boobs. Even my zits have cleared up.
Please advise/comfort me

Just try to relax-- the only thing I had at that point was sore boobs too... You have time to feel like sh!t!!
For hcg levels take a look at this...

Re: Calling for my blood results
I'm sorry you are feeling so nervous, the first trimester can be really scary and stressful, lots of people don't have many symptoms and you don't always feel or look pregnant. I didn't have morning sickness, I had tender boobs, but not really sore. My main symptom was mentrual like cramping for 12 weeks
I spent the entire 1st trimester looking for blood on my TP, wondering if that cramp was too crampy and when I did have bleeding on two occassions I totally lost it crying.
Generally if you don't experience heavy cramping with bright red bleeding everything is OK.
Try to relax, I know easier said than done. During the 1st 12 weeks the only thing that made me feel 100% OK was going to the Dr and seeing or hearing the baby.

My thoughts exactly.
I also thought the hcg levels meant nothing unless you had a compare to, BUT ask the dr or PA what they think when you call for the results.
I'm not at work today since I took the day off for our niece's wedding tonight, but I have a crackberry and my cell. Call me.

Re: Calling for my blood results
I honestly didn't have any symptoms at all the whole first trimester. I started to get slightly nauseas around 9 weeks or so, but that's it. So you may have nothing. Either way, it's still very early for you to have any symptoms so hang in there.

Re: Calling for my blood results
I'm sorry. I am now almost 13 weeks along and am finally begining to feel less anxious. I had started to have more energy, have cramping, and lose the nausea in week 10. I started to really worry. I was petrified to go to my ultrascreen. Then I went for the ultrascreen and saw the baby. I felt much better. The first trimester is hard. We don't look pregnant yet and we don't feel the baby yet. As the pp mentioned unless there is red blood and cramping the baby should be ok.
