Callus
I have one in the crease of my big toe where it hits my foot.
I've been using the OTC stuff and the skin eventually falls off but then it continues to grow back into a callus.
It can be uncomfortable and noticeable in my mind when I have my shoes off.
Any suggestions?
Do I need to trek to the doctor for this?

I'd go to a podiatrist. They will shave it off. It's quick and painless.

Yes, definitely get it shaved off.
But I find that my calluses always come back- I think it's because of the way your shoes wear, the way you walk etc.
I find that I only get calluses in certain spots, DH gets calluses in different spots.
It has to be the way you walk, how your shoes rub, etc.

yep! i get them on the sides of my big toes when i wear flip flops because i have flat feet, so my feet cave inward
