cambridge paving stones
if you used cambridge, can you tell me what color you went with & post pics if possible ?
I need to decide today and all the samples look nothing like the pics in the book to me
Thanks sooo much!

Re: cambridge paving stones
I highly recommend you go to a store tos ee the pavers in person. We used them too and the pictures in the cataloug or online were so different than in person! Be sure to bring a water bottle with you to so that you can wet the brick to see how it will look when it rains. The color we liked from the book was WAY too dark in person, so glad we went!
Where do you live? There's a place that carries them and has them displayed on a big board and you can wet them in the Elmont area.

Re: cambridge paving stones
Big ditto on that one. After seeing them in person, we changed our minds about colors. The finish makes a difference too - we went with non-tumbled which looks different from tumbled.
We went with KingsCourt Onyx/Natural and Salmon/Onyx. Originally we had wanted just Onyx but it was really dark for us.
Good luck!

Re: cambridge paving stones
Oh, we went with chestnut/salmon. However, it looks A LOT more orange on their site than in person!

Re: cambridge paving stones
If it's not too late... I second the toffee onyx! We did our front path and driveway apron/borders. I love it. Nice and neutral and natural.

Re: cambridge paving stones
What did you decide on? I was going to say that it depends on your house too, and if you want to match it, contrast it, both...
I took these pics for you today, not realizing that you had to make that decision days ago. But here they are anyway, to illustrate the difference between the catalog/in person and dry/wet:
KingsCourt Salmon/Onyx (non tumbled)
Dry
Wet spot
Web pic, similar to calalog:
