CAMERA GIRLS!!!
how can i take a pic of something in the dark with little light (aka- the lite up pumpkin, candle light)....its like, the setting that i use i have to be SSSSSUUUUUPPER steady or else it is foggy....i dont know what to do to get the perfect lite....??? and the perfect pic? like hannah by candle lite???

If it's a still-life (just the pumpkin), keep the shutter open for a while. You'll need to experiment with how long is good. A tripod helps, but even putting it on a steady surface should work.
If Hannah is in the pic, the long exposure won't work. You'll need to have some extra light. Dim lights in a nearby room, etc. Not a lot of light, but enough to see. I also use my finger to cover some of the flash. It gives a little bit of light, and a short exposure, but not enough to drown out any low light display (like a candle)
I've been practicing for a few years with my car and the underbody lights I have, as well as other friends who have lights on their cars, and the same issues come up. Too dark, and all you see is blotches of light. Too light, and you can't see the car's lights.

On my camera dial, I use the night portrait setting. It's a little guy in a box with a star next to his head.
What are you still doing up, LOL
