Well, I just setup our through QuickBooks. Do you consider that a middle-man?
Or, you can inquire into ACH payment through your bank.

I know they sell electronic funds software, so your payroll can set up the accounts, but you still need to enroll with a bank to process the payments. A good way to start maybe to talk to the people at the bank where the company account is

Thank you so much for posting this question as I have the same one!
My company distributes our paychecks through ADP, but they (company owners) do not offer direct deposit. Does anyone have any ideas? I LOATHE having to go to the bank every other Friday!

adp will do this, but your company must request it.

We use a payroll company (Paychex), but if you bank with the same bank as your company does, alot of banks have a payroll feature and you can automatically be able to transfer the funds into your account from the business account.

I use ACH payment through Commerce bank BUT, I have to go online once a week to initiate the transaction
