Can an almost 2 yr old really understand his birthday??
Ever since my little sister's birthday (5th), Ryan will sometimes throw little tantrums when it's not his birthday 
We have a party to go to today. I go in to get him this morning and say, "who's birthday is it?"
"It's my birthday mommy PLEEEAAAAZZZZEEEEE Mommy". When I explain it's not yet, he gets upsets I think it's hysterical - he's done this several times over the last month.
Guess the good thing is he'll be REALLY happy when I finally tell him it is his birthday next month

DD definately knew it was her birthday when she turned 2. She understands other peoples birthdays too.
