Can anyone help me? Counting....

my cycle...I am trying to figure it out. I count anywhere from 21-28 days since I went off BCP in February.

I got AF on September 18 and again on October 9th. This has been my shortest one yet....but I guess my question is this....basically on Monday and Tuesday (and all previous months) I spotted - I didn't even need a tampon it was so light. Then today I wake up and it was like the flood gates had opened! Do I count October 9th as the first day of AF? It just seems to do this every month where it comes and is non existant for anywhere between 1-4 days....then it comes full force....

any help or thoughts would be helpful...

I spot before AF and it CAN be a sign of a pregesterone deficiency-I am on pregesterone supplements. Also try taking a B complex vitamin-I take one by Nature Made called Stress B complex. It extends that phase(spotting is considered the end of your last cycle. 1st day of real bleeding is CD1)
