Can anyone help me figure out what browser my AOL uses?
I use AOL for mail, internet searches, etc. I also have Internet explorer that I can use, but I don't think my AOL uses the Internet explorer as a browser.
Am I making sense? I am not good with these things but I think I am having a problem with my AOL and wanted to figure out what my browser was for AOL.
If anyone can help direct me I would appreciate it.

can you take a screen shot? All you have to do is hold down 'alt' + 'prntscr' - and post it on here as an image.

Thanks very much! For some reason I rather not post that. Can anyone direct me how to find out that info on my own?

Usually on the top it will say which browser it is... Right now mine has the IE logo and then says Windows Internet Explorer

if i remeber correctly, AOL uses their own modified version of IE (which sucks btw  ).

Yes, AOL browsers are separate entities.
If you're having issues doing something on the web, and someone is asking you what browser version you use, you should try to use the browser on your local desktop and not the AOL browser.
AOL browser support is sparce and many sites refuse to code/test for it.

Yes, just found it uses aol explorere.
I am just worried that I am somehow getting a virus using AOL browser. I had a few weird pop ups. I have run my virus software a few times and it says nothing found.
Thats why I asked b/c I have safesearch on my internet explorer, so I was wondering what my aol uses when I search, to protect me? I guess nothing?
