Can Anyone Help Me Figure Out WHY My RE Said I Won't Need LUPRON For My FET?
I had my DD 20 MOS ago through a fresh cycle. We did Lupron with BC Pills and than Gonal F and Menupor.
I am soon to have a FET and my RE said I will just need Estrogen and Progesterone, not Lupron. I was suprised but didn't ask why. I go for my water sono (mock transfer) next week so I will ask then. But, until then, can anyone help me fiure it out??

I did the same for my FET. The estrogen patches are to thicken the lining of your uterus. I did that for a few weeks then added the PIO.

MY RE told me the same protocol...Estrogen patches and PIO only

Correct me if I am wrong, but Lupron is to suppress ovulation, right?
For a FET you can ovulate on your own, they just put the embryos in after the time in your cycle that you would ovulate.

yup my fet only had my on estrace pills and progesterone shots... i was never on lupron though

This is my understanding. With a fresh cycle, they want to completely manipulate your cycle. With a cryo cycle, they will time it accordingly but help you thicken the lining with estrogen.
