Can anyone recommend a travel or fold up swing

I need a swing that doesn't take up a lot of room but from all the reviews of the travel swings that I am seeing on BRU, the motor sounds like it is terrible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not really a swing, but this works for grandma's house, its light and easy to tote, Infant to Toddler Rocker

With batteries, it vibrates and does help to soothe DS, but rocking him by hand in it when he's drowsy will always put him to sleep.

Re: Can anyone recommend a travel or fold up swing

We just went away for 4 days this passed weekend and knew that we needed a swing for DD.
We ended up with the Graco Lovin hug swing. It's really easy to fold and the seat itself reclines.
DD really liked it and it took up very little space in my car

We have the FP precious planet one. We got it a bit late in the game for grandma's house. I wish I had had it from the very beginning. We used to move it indoors and outdoors. Super easy to transport.

I have the Boppy Travel Swing that we got when DD was born last year.

I'm not sure if they still make it, but we took it everywhere and it was VERY easy to just fold up and take. Took up hardly any space in the car.

Re: Can anyone recommend a travel or fold up swing

Ok, I was just looking into swings this weekend because I need a small foldable one for my bedroom. I checked out lots of reviews and decided on the Bright Starts portable swing. They sell them on target.com (online only, but free shipping right now) and also at amazon.com, walmart.com, and a few other places. I'm honestly not sure if they have them in any stores since I didn't bother checking, but they all had free shipping so I ordered it.

What I really like about it is that it folds very compactly, and also will keep the same swinging action as the baby gets heavier. Oh and it has 2 recline positions.

I got it in this pattern, but they have 2 other neutral ones and also a pink one.

I loved the concept of this. So I bought it. I returned it ASAP. It made so much noise, that DS wouldn't/couldn't sleep while he was in it....

We have the Fisher Price Rainforest portable swing. It kept up with DS who was rather heavy. I recently retired it, because he was trying to climb out of it.

really? That is disappointing. I was looking into this one A LOT because it looked like it folded up really thin and we have the Graco car seat but I am having a really hard time finding it anywhere. They have it on Walmart.com and had one on display at BBB. DH went to go check it out at yesterday and said it didn't look so good.

We have this one...it is great b/c the carseat snaps right in, so when he is sleeping after a car ride it is great. The noise actually soothes my DS!
