Can anyone recommend an inexpensive safety gate

I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just something I can pressure mount to the wall. I live in a small apartment. The dinning room, kitchen, and bathroom are all in one area and the living room is the next big room. I need to put a gate in between that. because now that DS is crawling I don't want him in there where the cat's stuff is...

The other he went in there and was playing with the cat's water bowl. There was water all over the place. Thank God it was just the water. But next time he could god forbid get into the cat's food or litter box. I want to avoid that...

Get it in Home Depot, not a baby store, it's so much cheaper! We got a great one at HD for $15.

Can you put the cat's food and water up on a piece of furniture? How will the cat get at the food and water if the gate is there?

Well the bathroom is in the same area as the dinning room and kitchen so he would have no problem and his tower is in the dinning room so he would have no problem going from his tower to the bathroom.

If he is in the living room then yes the gate would be blocking him but this is a young cat. I definitely see him hoping over the gate. If he can hop on top of the kitchen counters (which are high) then the gate should be no problem for him...Chat Icon

they're safety gates. I would guess people buy them there for pets, but it works...
