Can anyone recommend good restaurants, bars in...
Freeport on the Nautical Mile?
I found this list, just wondering if anyone has ever been to any of them and which you would recommend.
• E.B. Elliot's • 42 Woodcleft • Nautilus Cafe • Splash Cafe & Grill • The Crabshack • Water Lilly's • River House Grille • JC Cove • Villa Mia Brick Oven Pizzeria • Jeremy's Ale House • Otto's Sea Grill • Rachel's Waterside Grill • Bracco's Clam & Oyster Bar • Hudson & McCoy Fish House & Bar • Margo & Frank's Mermaid • The Schooner • Bonito Hibachi • Capt. Phil Ehrhardt's Waterside Tavern
OH...also...we need a restaurant that offers pastas and chicken along with the traditional seafood.
TIA!
ETA- We are also looking for a good bar for hanging afterwards (in the same area) for a bunch of mid 30- 40 year olds!

• Nautilus Cafe
Just went there on fRiday night for dinner. It was fabulous and they have amazing alternative dishes besides seafood. It's a little more formal than some of the on the water places, but really nice, not snobby.

EB Elliots is good for what you describe.
I also like Hudson McCoy
Nautlilus has excellent food.
I like Rachel's too.

Ottos - would be great to hang out afterwards. They always have live music on the weekends and the crowd tends to be more mature there.
Rachels & Hudson & McCoy - both have great food and great ambiance.

Re: Can anyone recommend good restaurants, bars in...
• E.B. Elliot's - good for a nicer night out, IMO it's a bit fancier than the rest of the restaurants on the nautical mile except for...
• Hudson & McCoy Fish House & Bar - this can go either way. good for casual hanging out and drinking and also good for a nice dinner out. the food here is terrific.
• Water Lilly's - not a fan at all. too old and stuffy. think "early bird special"
• Otto's Sea Grill - love this for eating outside and drinking, just make sure you know what live music is playing that night in case you are not a fan. i am not a fan of the indoor dining, it's too stuffy for me. the food is great, though.
• Bracco's Clam & Oyster Bar - also a good place for hanging out and eating outside, it's more casual, like otto's
• The Schooner - i had my 21st birthday party here. love the food, it's a bit fancier, but the service the last two times i was there STUNK.
just about all of these should offer a menu that includes pasta and chicken.
for hanging out afterwards, i would stick with hudson and mccoys, otto's or bracco's - they have the best after-dinner crowds IMO
