Re: can anyone recommend take out places in the Dougloston/little neck area
We're north of 25A and we also struggle with finding places we like around here.
We've been happy with Joe's Pizza (on Marathon Pkwy) and Aunt Bella's (also on Marathon Pkwy) for italian delivery. We like Giardino's (on Douglaston Parkway) better than either of those, but they don't deliver.
DH likes Agean on Northern Blvd, but I haven't been impressed.
I heard good things about a chinese place on Northern that's on the same block as OTB, but I haven't tried it yet.
What places have you tried?

There is a pretty good sushi place on Northern. It is right by the bank that has its own traffic light. It is on the north side of the street.I wish I could remember the name but it escapes me.

Ocean's closed?? Do you know why?
I wish I could help you with some ideas. We always order from Joe's though.. it's a favorite in the area.

if you are willing to go as far as Nonnos - close by is Villa Rustica (73rd and bell) I think their food is better than Nonno's.
