Can anyone recommend the Fisher-Price Space Saver highchair?

I saw it in person and it looks a little flimsy, but has gotten great reviews. I got the Peg Perego Prima Pappa as a gift which is really nice, but it's $$$ and big. I'm really not crazy about having a big highchair in my dining room, plus the extra $150 credit difference at BBB would great.

Anyone have it? TIA.

My mom just bought it to keep at her house for DS. It is a bit flimsier (ie: plastic) than I thought it would be, but we just set it up and it works great. I am glad I got a full sized highchair for my house though.

I like mine...we dont have much space and our kitchen table is a high counter top so it works great for us...dd is only 5 1/2 months so we'll see how long it will last...plus it's really easy to take with us when we go to the IL house

We have it; it's great. I have a really tiny kitchen, so not having to store a highchair is great; it just sits on a kitchen chair. It's easy to remove the tray, it cleans really well...no complaints so far. I also like that it is portable & can be converted to a booster seat later on.

I have this one and I love it. I had a Peg Perego with DD#1 and tossed it out when she grew out of it because I was not a fan. It was very hard to clean and very bulky IMO. I love having the space saver. It is nice to not take up addition floor space. My 20 month old is huge, about 35lbs and still fits in with room to spare. It also becomes a booster and has a height adjustment. I would never buy anything else.

Re: Can anyone recommend the Fisher-Price Space Saver highchair?

I just wanted to add, that if I had a chair this was more compatible with I would not have gotten rid of it. Unfortunetely the bottom of my chair did not have an opening for the handle to fit through, and no matter how tight I pulled the straps the back could not be fluch with the back of the chair, making this a "rocking chair" which is what my DS did with it once he was big enough to rock it, making learning to eat a choking hazard. If you have an opening at the base of your ahcir, the fit will not be an issue, and i would 100% recommend.

I have it based on my sister's recommendation. Her son is 20 months old and still uses it.

I haven't used mine yet, but I bought one for my mother for her house and my DS loves sitting it in. He's 4.5 months old, and he eats so much better in the high chair than he does in the bouncy seat.

Plus, we're all tight on space in our kitchens, so it works really well for us.

Re: Can anyone recommend the Fisher-Price Space Saver highchair?

My parents have a different space saver at their house and they like it and DD seemed to like it.

We had/have the Perego Prima Pappa at our house. We have the space so it never bothered me, but if i was short on space I would get something smaller or the space saver.

We didn't start using either until around 3 months so you could also hold off on it for now if you wanted.

We have it and only started using it recently but I like it. The only thing that bothers me is that it still takes up space b/c now the chair it is on can't be pushed in under the table. But otherwise, it seems great so far.
