Can anyone recommend their acupuncturist?
I have such bad sciatic pain. I do stretches, go to a chiropractor and get massages and nothing seems to help. I live in Farmingdale but will go anywhere!! I'm hoping this will help!

Re: Can anyone recommend their acupuncturist?
I'm out of town and am currently about 8 courses into a 12 course of Acupuncture and its FINALLY beginning to have some good results for me...
I can't recommend anyone as I am out of town, but good luck!!! Give it some time..it isn't an instant cure!

Re: Can anyone recommend their acupuncturist?
I second James Shinol. I went to him for infertility and guess what...I'm pregnant! Don't know if it was the accupuncture or the Natural Progesterone cream, but something worked. And the needles didn't hurt and felt "right" I've heard stories where the needles hurt and clearly the person was doing it wrong.
If you go to James - bring an ipod or walkman. His walls are thin and you can hear conversations in the hall. Very distracting when you are trying to relax.

I see Andrea Huggler of LI Holistic located in Babylon. She does have other offices though, I'm just not sure where. She is one of the vendors on this site.

Re: Can anyone recommend their acupuncturist?
i went to sharon mcdermott of healthy healing righ tby the roosevelt feild mall. i didnt love her, as i thoguht she pressured me to take herbs and i wouldnt and she ddint like that... but she was painless and treated what i wanted treated. her apts were on time and she knew what she was doing. however she was not an overly warm person. more mater of fact. if bedside manner isnt an issue for this type of teatment and yo uare comfortable lettign her know what you are and are not comfortable with then i woulkd reccommend her. she too k my insurance which was why i went to her. i have very limited acupuncturists covered on my plan.

I HIGHlY recommend him. He was actually one of my teachers.
I know he is VERY succesful for infertily issues and specialize in it but he does other treatments. One of my friends goes to him.

Awesome! She is one of our vendors as well. They have 3 locations; Babylon, Lake Sucess and Woodmere:
