I am SOO glad I am not alone in this!
I was there last week and I was getting depressed.
And it's so hard to not look at yourself. You have nowhere else to look! I was SOOO glad when she pulled some hair over my face as she was putting in the foils. I was like THANK GOD I can't see myself anymore for a bit!

Oh no, the mirror with foils?!?!? Where I go, there are no mirrors for the chairs where they do hair color or foils etc. They have a separate area for that, thank God!

Yep! I go to her house. She has a little salon set up in her basement. But it's one chair for everything! So you can imagine how long I have to stare at my hideous self through EVERY stage of the process. It's not pretty

I really think it's because your hair is wet and plastered to your head and that freaking cape so tight around your neck doesn't help matters

I thought it was just me. My salon has a full length mirror in front of each station so you can't help but see how awful you look.

YES!! The chair at the Salon and the bathroom mirrors in hotels - I feel so depressed...and yes I always try to dress a little better when I go to the salon and wear make up but the girl washing my hair likes to give me face a good spray while doing my hair therefore erasing all my hard work.
